A while ago the Northern Lights were visible in parts of Germany — which is a very rare event. And a strikingly beautiful one. Well, so I have heard, as I did miss it.
So, I wonder, given that we have all these weather/disaster/whatever warnings, all those apps that inform you when something is happening that is usually very hard to miss, why not make an app that informs you when something beautiful is happening near you? Not only an event like the northern lights, perhaps a beautiful sunset, or a temporary exhibition with some strikingly beautiful paintings or statues … that might be something.
