Recommendation teamLab borderless

To have seen something, is to not have seen something else
teamLab Borderless

One recommendation on a website about Tokyo was to visit teamLab borderless. It’s … well, some kind of technology based digital artwork exhibition.

Well, best shown in a video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BO11tdE9kgI) and some photos:

They do have some beautiful ideas, including the LED strip room. I wonder if something similar can be done with LED wristbands. After all, connecting them with tape and fixing them to wall and ceiling … should lead to a similar effect. And you can even control different bands. Could do some interesting patterns.

So, yeah, beautiful exhibits.

They also have a tea house in which you can order some drinks. They are served very nicely, but probably the best thing is that the cups are recognized by the projectors. They project a flower onto it when it sits on the table:

Or as video ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qe4BRl93KAk ):

If you want to visit it, you should pre-book it, it’s often fully booked. Oh, and if you are female and self-conscious, you might not want to wear a dress or take that cloth:

But yeah, highly recommended.
