While Google has its problems, its ability to find information that was put online is impressive. And I don’t mean websites itself, but other files that are available (e.g., uploaded and linked from blog postings or course pages).
You can find these files by using the filetype operator with a search term. So if you google
sewing filetype:pdf
Google searches for uploaded PDFs which contain the word sewing.
You might limit the search somewhat, for example, to blogs on wordpress.com
sewing filetype:pdf site:wordpress.com
and perhaps even to the filename itself:
sewing filetype:pdf site:wordpress.com name:book
No guarantee that you find anything, or anything good, and as usual no warranty, but might be worth a try.
