This is how liberty dies …

The Emperor [to the Senate]: «In order to secure the security and continuing stability, the republic will be reorganized into the first Galactic Empire, for a safe and secure society.»
[Senate fills with enormous applause]
Senator Amidala [to Bail]: «So this is how liberty dies. With thunderous applause.»

So the university I work for went full 3G — meaning you have either to be vaccinated («geimpft»), recovered («genesen»), or tested («getestet») to go to work. And tested means getting a Covid antigen test each and every day. That’s 30 minutes down the drain, because testing people without symptoms is stupid. Even more so considering that those who are vaccinated can still transmit the disease and likely do not notice when they are infected.

Strange how a vaccine can suck so much.

But the thing that really … concerns me is the … agreement, perhaps even desire to conform, to these regulations. There are people who really want to show their vaccination certificate so they can enter their workplace.

Let’s just look at it in the cold light of the weekend — people want to show their health information to their employer to be admitted to work.

Do any of these people notice where this will likely lead? What dam was just broken?

Your employer gets your health information? Seriously? And you are eager to show your health certificate to them? And your colleagues cheer you on?

You can’t make this shit up.
