Just something that struck me when I was walking through Lübeck. On the one hand, you have houses like these:
and then you have «modern» «houses» like these:
Sure, it’s apples and oranges when it comes to purpose, amount of apartments it can fit, cost, etc. pp., but still — something is lost here.
Houses should be made of bricks, not look like one.
