Interesting Academic Writing Blogs

“All across Omnia, there’s people who know people. People who believe in the Turtle.”
“You know, I never meant for people to believe in the Turtle,” said Didactylos unhappily. “It’s just a big turtle. It just exists. Things just happen that way. I don’t think the Turtle gives a damn. I just thought it might be a good idea to write things down and explain things a bit.”
“Small Gods” by Terry Pratchett

I already recommended the book “Writing for Peer Reviewed Journals” by Thomson & Kamler. One of the nice aspects of the book is that they refer to interesting blogs. The following are very interesting:

  • Explorations of Style — A Blog about Academic Writing
  • patter — research education, academic writing, public engagement, funding, other eccentricities

I am sure there are countless others available — if you know a good blog dealing with academic writing, drop me a comment.
