Yeah, I totally agree with the video cut of Liz Wheeler here. And also yeah, from personal experience. I’m a psychologist. Most psychologists are women, so it should not be that uncommon to see positions opening especially for men — they are in the minority, after all. Yet I only saw two to three of these positions stating they would prefer to hire a man when I was — desperately looking for a job. And all two or three job openings went straight into the trash bin.
Because I would never never want to get a job just because of some characteristic I did not control. At all.
